Public Registration Ends This Saturday, Jan. 28
A reminder that all registration forms must be received NO LATER than this Saturday, Jan. 28th. Since it’s so close to the deadline, we recommend you drop the form and payment off at the church reception desk. PAYMENTS CANNOT BE DROPPED OFF ON SATURDAY, as there is no receptionist and our school obviously is closed. Make sure to tell the receptionist it is for Noah’s Ark. If we get more applicants than spaces available, we will choose students by lottery and you will be informed next week whether your child is in the program. Anything received after January 28th will be put on a waiting list, unless we still have openings.

Monday: CK After-School Enrichment Program, 12:30 – 2:00 ($10 per child) – Finish Andy Warhol; Stained Glass Cookies.
Tuesday: Christmas Carols with the 2 Year Olds, 11:45 – 12:00 (Please meet us in the Fellowship Hall (gym) and join us for some Christmas songs!
Wednesday: Christmas Program, 11:30 – 12:30, church sanctuary. The Pre-K class will perform a Nativity Play, followed by Pre-K and the 3’s classes singing some Christmas songs. We will then all sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and enjoy birthday cake. All are invited! NO CK After-School Enrichment Program.
Friday: CK After-School Enrichment Program, 12:30 – 2:00 ($10 per child) – Newspaper Ball Fun, kicking and passing.
Weeks of December 19 and 26 – NO CLASSES (Winter Break)
Wednesday, January 18th – OPEN HOUSE for anyone interested in Noah’s Ark for the 2011 – 2012 school year, 1:30 – 2:30.

Our Wreaths Have Arrived!

Our beautiful wreaths have arrived! They were hand-made by the Mujeres Luchadoras Progresistas (Women Striving for Progress). Each wreath was lovingly made using noble fir boughs, pine cones, holly and a red bow. Wreaths can be picked up at the Saturday evening LGPC church service or during the Sunday morning LGPC church services, or at Noah’s Ark the following week.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who bought a wreath! You helped not only our preschool, but also the MLP program.
Gingerbread!
The 3′s class has been reading different versions of The Gingerbread Boy this week. This is ALWAYS favorite! Today we made gingerbread cookies and sure hoped one wouldn’t hop out of the oven. We are happy to say they all stayed in the oven and we all had a cookie after our snack. Yum!

You are invited to our Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 23 from 11:30 – 12:30 ! We start in the sanctuary, where the 3′s and pre-K classes sing a few songs and share what they are thankful for. Then, we all move into the Fellowship Hall for a potluck lunch! Look for RSVP sheets on the blue table soon. Each family brings something from the food list.
Noah’s Ark will be CLOSED Friday, Nov. 11 – Veteran’s Day
